This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, OH and the show kicked off with Michael Cole addressing Bron Breakker’s status.
Cole told the fans that Bron Breakker suffered an injury while training, and while he wasn’t sure what the injury is, Breakker is out of action indefinitely.
Bron Breakker’s status has been a big talking point among wrestling fans as it was recently reported that Breakker underwent surgery due to a major hernia. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion has been sidelined for now, but it’s also been reported that people within WWE are said to be optimistic that Breakker will be able to return in time for WrestleMania.
Ever since he speared Roman Reigns on the Raw after WrestleMania 41, Bron Breakker has been a key figure on Monday Night Raw. He unsuccessfully challenged CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship on Raw last month, and was also eliminated for the Royal Rumble after a mystery man attacked him before he officially entered the match. It’s been reported that there were originally plans for Breakker to win the Royal Rumble and you can get more on that here.
