WWE has been consistently signing wrestlers over the last few years as the company has been working to build up their roster. Now it seems that another promising name could be WWE bound.
Fightful Select is reporting that several sources in the Brit Wrestling scene believe that Rayne Leverkusen has signed with WWE. It was noted that Rayne Leverkusen participated in a pair of tryouts last year and was named the MVP of the SummerSlam tryouts.
One source in British Wrestling predicted that Rayne will “get to the very top” and added she is “genuinely one of the very best” that they had worked with.
Rayne Leverkusen dropped the Hustle title at the Hustle Wrestling event on February 5th, and seemingly said goodbye to her home promotion. She also dropped other titles over the last month including the PROGRESS Women’s Championship.
Last year Rayne posted the following on Instagram after participating in the SummerSlam tryouts:
“When we were kids, my brother and I would constantly nag our parents to move to America so I could become a pro wrestler.
Nearly 4.5 years ago, I started my training.
2 years ago, I thought my career was over and any hope of having a tryout was gone.
10 months ago, I returned to the ring — but I was still worried I’d never get back to where I was.
Last weekend, I flew home from my second WWE tryout of the year.
I cried a lot of tears in 2023 and 2024, and I never thought I’d be writing a post about having a WWE tryout.
Spending last week training with the best coaches in the world, making new friends, being awarded MVP and doing what I love most was truly an unforgettable experience.
