The Royal Rumble has come and gone and this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw is set to focus on the fallout from the big show. Liv Morgan won the women’s Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns won the men’s Royal Rumble and now fans are waiting to see where things will go from here.
The Royal Rumble matches featured a number of notable returns, but one star who was notably absent was Dominik Mysterio. The current Intercontinental and AAA Mega Champion has been out of action for months now due to injury. However, it sounds like we could be seeing him sooner than later.
PWInsider is reporting that Dominik is expected to return imminently and there was talk earlier today that he is scheduled to be at Raw tonight at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, PA. Recently it was announced that Dominik will be defending the AAA Mega Championship against El Hijo del Vikingo at Rey de Reyes on Match 14th.
Another name who has been sidelined for months now is none other than Chad Gable. Over the weekend Gable returned to the ring when he competed in the men’s Royal Rumble match as the Original El Grande Americano. PWInsider is reporting that Gable has been spotted in Philadelphia ahead of Raw tonight.
One way or another tonight’s Raw is shaping up to be a big show as Stephanie Vaquer is set to defend the Women’s World Championship against Raquel Rodriguez in a Philadelphia Street Fight.
