It’s an interesting time to be a professional wrestling fan as there are a number of companies who are looking to sign talent right now which means that moves are being made. Powerhouse Hobbs recently finished up with AEW and it looks like he could be WWE bound.
Fightful Select is reporting that people in WWE are operating on the belief that Powerhouse Hobbs has signed with the company. The expectation was that he would be heading to WWE after parting ways with All Elite Wrestling.
Powerhouse Hobbs has not been backstage at WWE yet, but the company has been interested in him for years. It’s being said that Hobbs had been looking to make a move in recent weeks, but had been negotiating with AEW. Sources noted that Hobbs is expected to be at Royal Rumble weekend later this month. However, those plans have not been confirmed.
The WWE Royal Rumble will air live from Saudi Arabia on Saturday, January 31st and the current card can be seen below.
