WWE Raw aired live from Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday night and Je’Von Evans stepped into the ring to face off against El Grande Americano.
The show cut a commercial break during the match and when Raw returned Je’Von Evans could be seen sitting on the floor near the announce table. It was then announced that WWE officials decided to stop the match due to a possible injury and El Grande Americano was announced as the winner.
PWInsider is reporting that Je’Von Evans is said to be ok following his match on Raw. There was no concern regarding a potential injury, but there was worry over a possible concussion. Evans was evaluated backstage and left with the roster. It doesn’t appear that he suffered a concussion, but that has not been confirmed.
During the Raw on Netflix anniversary show on January 5, Je’Von Evans officially joined the red brand when he signed a main roster contract. The following week he defeated Bravo Americano on the January 12 episode of Raw. Over the last week he’s wrestled several matches at live events on the Road to Royal Rumble tour.
Stay tuned for more updates on Je’Von Evans’ status as they become available.
