WWE’s weekly shows have gone through some major changes over the last few years as Raw, SmackDown and NXT have all moved to different networks. Various pairings of commentary teams have also appeared on all three brands and it looks like WWE will be shuffling the deck at the announce table once again in the near future.

PWInsider is reporting that Michael Cole and Corey Graves are set to take on commentary duties for Raw starting with the January 5, 2026 episode. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett will call Friday Night SmackDown from the January 2, 2026 episode moving forward.

WWE Monday Night Raw moved to Netflix almost one year ago when the show debuted on the streaming service on January 6, 2025. The upcoming January 5, 2026 episode is a loaded show as WWE is celebrating the anniversary of their flagship show moving to Netflix. So far WWE has confirmed that CM Punk will be defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker, and The Kabuki Warriors will be defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky on January 5.

The January 2, 2026 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is also shaping up to be a big show as WWE has confirmed that SmackDown will be moving back to a three hour format on that night. With SmackDown once again becoming a three hour show it will be interesting to see who gets the opportunity to step into the spotlight when the blue brand adds an extra hour.

Stay tuned for updates.
