Chris Jericho Ruled Out For Big AEW Show

The end of the year is quickly approaching and there’s been a lot of talk about Chris Jericho’s status moving forward. Jericho’s contract with AEW is set to expire at the end of 2025 and it’s been heavily rumored that he could be returning to WWE.

It’s been months since Jericho has appeared on AEW programming as he last wrestled for the company when he was defeated by Bandido back in April. AEW has given no indication that Jericho will be returning to the company, and now it seems that he’s been ruled out for the upcoming pay-per-view this weekend.

Recently Chris Jericho announced that he will be doing a live stream with The Winnipeggers on his YouTube channel on Saturday, December 27 at 9 pm. The live stream will air during the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view, so unless Jericho is attempting to swerve fans it appears that the first ever AEW World Champion won’t be at the event.

“WE’RE PUTTING THE BAND BACK TOGETHER!! Come join us on Dec 27 at 9 pm EST for the (possible) triumphant return of #TheWinnipeggers! We have no script, no ideas, and no clue what we are gonna do….so it’s pretty much par for the course! Only on my @youtube channel!”

Stay tuned for more updates on Chris Jericho’s status as they become available.
