Last month at Survivor Series a mysterious masked man interfered in the men’s WarGames match and hit a superkick and a stomp on CM Punk then climbed out of the cage. The interference led to Bron Breakker spearing Punk to pick up the win for his team, and since then everyone has been trying to figure out who could be under the mask.
During this week’s episode of Raw, Rey Mysterio was making his entrance for a match with Finn Balor when he was attacked from behind by Logan Paul. The Maverick beat Rey Mysterio down then pulled out the brass knuckles, but Rey managed to get some offense in as he made a comeback. Mysterio got Logan Paul on the ropes and he was about to go for the 619 when the masked man appeared out of nowhere and attacked Mysterio. The masked man hit the stomp on Mysterio then left the ring as security came after him.
After security chased off the mysterious masked man through the crowd, Logan Paul connected with the brass knuckles on Rey Mysterio. LA Knight’s music hit right after and The Megastar ran down to the ring to make the save for Rey Mysterio.
LA Knight got on the mic and implied that he believes the masked man is Seth Rollins when he said he’s going to stomp Seth’s head in. He told Logan Paul it’s time for him to pay and he challenged him to a match in Kansas City on Raw. After the commercial break LA Knight vs. Logan Paul was confirmed for later in the show.
