The WWE main roster is loaded with talent right now, but as we’ve seen over the last few months a number of notable names have parted ways with the company. Several WWE contracts have expired throughout 2025 and it looks like a current champion has a deal which is set to expire next year.
PWInsider is reporting that there are some in WWE who have brought up that the company needs to sign Dragon Lee to a new deal before his current contract expires in 2026.
Dragon Lee originally signed with WWE in 2022 and went on to join the NXT brand shortly after. During his run with the brand he managed to become a one time NXT North American Champion.
In March of 2024, Dragon Lee was called up to the main roster and he ended up joining the LWO. Since then he has won the WWE Speed Championship, and last week he won the WWE World Tag Team Championship alongside AJ Styles.
Dragon Lee has been regularly featured on WWE programming over the last few months and he recently challenged Dominik Mysterio for the AAA Mega Championship at AAA Heroes Inmortales 2025.
