Chris Jericho has been lucky enough to have a long career in the professional wrestling business, and back in 2019 he made the jump to All Elite Wrestling. Jericho has been one of the top stars in the company since then, but his run with AEW could potentially be coming to an end sooner than later.

Fightful Select reports that unless for some reason Chris Jericho’s contract is extended or frozen his deal with All Elite Wrestling is currently set to expire at the end of 2025. There’s been no word on Jericho’s name being brought up when it comes to AEW creative, but it was noted that his creative is typically discussed directly with Tony Khan. It was claimed within AEW that Jericho’s relationship with the company is still strong, although there’s no word from anyone close to Jericho regarding his view on the situation.

Multiple companies on a national and global level, including WWE, are said to be interested in using Chris Jericho even though his contract isn’t officially up yet. Chris Jericho’s name has been brought up among WWE higher ups, although there’s no word on whether or not there have been any direct conversations about him or creative ideas discussed.

One WWE source indicated that the company would likely pay Chris Jericho “several million dollars” annually if he were to return. However, it was also noted that the belief is AEW could match that, and that source wasn’t sure what Chris Jericho’s motivations were.
