Throughout the year WWE creative has had to deal with some major curveballs and last week it was reported that Seth Rollins had been sidelined due to a shoulder injury. Adam Pearce kicked off Raw this week and he claimed that Rollins recently underwent major surgery then he stripped The Visionary of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Originally Seth Rollins was supposed to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but it was determined on Raw this week that Jey Uso will be replacing Rollins in the title match.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported last week that there was talk of Austin Theory being part of an angle at Saturday Night’s Main Event that would have seen him join The Vision.

WrestleVotes is now reporting that there are still voices within the company who are pushing to keep Austin Theory involved in the creative plans after the company was forced to shuffle things around due to Seth Rollins suffering an injury. The idea of Theory potentially joining The Vision was discussed, and it’s being said that he still has internal support.

Austin Theory has been off TV for some time due to injury as he last stepped into the ring during the July 14th episode of Main Event when he faced off against El Grande Americano.

Stay tuned for updates.
