Over the last few years there have been a number of breakout stars who have come through NXT and made a name for themselves on the WWE main roster. Lyra Valkyria was called up to Monday Night Raw in 2024, and since then she’s been consistently featured on WWE programming. Now it looks like fans will be seeing more of Lyra Valkyria in the months to come.
BodySlam is reporting that WWE has big plans for Lyra Valkyria heading into 2026. It was noted that Valkyria is currently viewed as a big piece in the future of the WWE women’s division.
Lyra Valkyria first signed with WWE in 2020 and she went on to work with the NXT UK brand before moving to NXT. During her run with the brand she managed to become a one time NXT Women’s Champion. A few months after getting called up to the main roster Valkyria became the first ever WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion and she is also a one time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.
Earlier this year Valkyria spent several months feuding with Becky Lynch, and she is currently involved in a storyline with Bayley. Stay tuned for updates.
