There’s been a lot of talk about WWE departures recently as names like Andrade, Karrion Kross and Jazmyn Nyx recently finished up with the company. Earlier this week it was reported that Santos Escobar’s WWE contract had expired and shortly after the company confirmed the departure when Escobar’s profile was moved to the alumni section of WWE’s website.

While Santos Escobar’s contract did expire, it appears that he’s no longer a free agent. PWInsider is reporting that Escobar has come to terms on a new deal with WWE, and he is now back with the company. According to the report Santos Escobar’s concerns with creative were addressed and WWE made him a larger offer than what was previously offered to him.

Santos Escobar originally signed with WWE in 2019, and he was called up to the main roster in 2022. He had not been featured on television in recent months and it was reported that WWE separated Escobar from Angel and Berto because they knew he would be leaving the company. WWE did attempt to re-sign Escobar, but he initially turned the offer down.

Now it seems that WWE made an offer to Santos Escobar that both sides are happy with, so it will be interesting to see how he’s used in the months to come now that he’s officially back with the company.
