Randy Orton has been in the professional wrestling business for decades now and he’s solidified his spot as one of the top stars in WWE. The Viper is currently 45 years old, so it’s probably safe to say that he has more matches behind him than he does in front of him.
At this point there’s no telling when Randy Orton might hang up the boots for good, but Cody Rhodes recently pointed out that we won’t know how much longer Orton will be wrestling during a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.
“It’s Randy Orton, somebody who was a mentor to me in the game. And—no spoiler—Randy is… we don’t know how much longer Randy is going to be doing this. I don’t want that to creep up on me if we didn’t get one more good old fashioned Mega Powers-style tag with the guy who is partially responsible for me ever getting anywhere in WWE.”
Randy Orton will be in action this Friday as he’s currently set to team up with Cody Rhodes to face Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker on SmackDown. WWE is currently focusing on the following points for the show:
– Cody Rhodes & Randy Orton go to war against Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker
– Sami Zayn’s United States Open Challenge continues
– Tiffany Stratton sets her sights on Crown Jewel and Stephanie Vaquer
– Damian Priest in action on SmackDown
Stay tuned for updates.
