Major Title Change Takes Place At AEW All Out

The AEW All Out pay-per-view aired live from Toronto on Saturday and the show delivered some big moments. Beth Phoenix made her AEW debut during the opening match, and later in the night Toni Storm defended the AEW Women’s Championship against Kris Statlander, Jamie Hayter and Thekla in a four way match.

Near the end of the match Jamie Hayter started brawling with Thekla on the apron and Thekla ended up spearing Hayter off the apron onto the floor. As Toni Storm’s back was turned Kris Statlander grabbed her from behind. Storm tried to set Statlander up for Storm Zero, but Statlander got out of it. Kris Statlander ended up putting Storm in the Seatbelt pin and the referee counted three.

Toni Storm looked shocked as it was announced that Kris Statlander is the new AEW Women’s Champion. The fans chanted “you deserve it” as Statlander held up the belt and celebrated in the ring. Harley Cameron then made her way out to celebrate with Statlander as Storm continued to look on from the stage.

Back in February, Toni Storm became a four time AEW Women’s Champion when she defeated Mariah May at Grand Slam Australia, but after 217 days her reign has come to an end.
