Ever since AEW first launched in 2019 a number of former WWE stars have made the jump to the company. Names like Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Swerve Strickland and others have manager to achieve success in AEW, and Toni Storm has arguably become the face of the AEW women’s division.
At 29 years old Toni Storm hopefully has a long career ahead of her, and some fans have wondered if she could end up returning to WWE at some point in the future.
However, Toni Storm recently made it clear during an appearance on the Sandman Podcast that she doesn’t have any interest in being part of the WWE roster again.
“No (it wouldn’t be an option). And that’s no offense to them. I think they’re great, and I understand them for exactly what they are. They’re a machine, they’re a business, and I just don’t fit in with their whole shtick, and that’s cool. I love it and I love a lot of the people that work there. And it’s like, yes, get that money, get that power.”
Toni Storm first started working with WWE in 2017 when she entered the Mae Young Classic tournament. She officially signed with the company in 2018. Storm went on to win the Mae Young Classic in 2018, and she won the NXT UK Women’s Championship in 2019. Toni Storm parted ways with WWE in December of 2021 after she requested to be released from her contract.
In March of 2022, Toni Storm made her debut with All Elite Wrestling and she has since gone on to become a four time AEW Women’s Champion.
