The last few weeks have been big for the WWE Universe as Brock Lesnar and AJ Lee have both returned to WWE programming. Brock Lesnar and AJ Lee have both been confirmed for WrestlePalooza later this month, and now it seems that another big name will be returning in time for the event.
During a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Triple H confirmed that Cody Rhodes will be back for WrestlePalooza when he said, “I’ll give you a spoiler right now, Cody will be back, Indianapolis.”

Cody Rhodes has been off TV for over a month now as he last appeared on the August 8th episode of SmackDown when Drew McIntyre put him through the announce table with a Claymore. Since then The American Nightmare has been away filming for the Street Fighter movie in which he is set to take on the role of Guile.
WWE has yet to officially announce the match, but it’s been rumored that Cody Rhodes will be defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at WrestlePalooza on September 20th.
