It’s safe to say that tonight’s episode of SmackDown is one of the most anticipated shows of the year so far as some big names are rumored for the event.
All week the wrestling world has been buzzing about the potential return of AJ Lee, and more fuel was seemingly thrown on the fire as it was reported this afternoon that Becky Lynch is set to close the show tonight.
Ahead of Friday Night SmackDown this week Fightful Select is reporting that AJ Lee is expected to appear on the show, or be announced. It was also noted that Brock Lesnar was scheduled to travel into Chicago on Thursday. It has not been confirmed that Brock Lesnar is set for the show, but he was in town. According to the report neither AJ Lee nor Brock Lesnar are listed internally for the show, but it’s being said that’s not out of the ordinary.
