AJ Styles made his big debut with WWE in 2016 and ever since then he’s been featured as one of the top stars in the company. However, it’s no big secret that AJ has more matches behind him that he does ahead of him, and he recently got fans talking when he posted a picture of an hourglass on his Instagram page.
There’s been a lot of speculation regarding AJ Styles’ contract status and Fightful Select is reporting that they found out from those close to Styles that his deal was extended for one year. It was noted that WWE hopes to retain him after that period, but will evaluate the situation, and AJ’s interest when the time comes.
Sources close to The Phenomenal One have indicated that his deal is up around February of 2026. That means his contract is set to expire after the Royal Rumble, and before WrestleMania 42. It was also noted that while Styles has discussed the possibility of retirement, he hasn’t mentioned it lately.
AJ Styles is currently 48 years old, and he stated during an interview with Chris Van Vliet that was released 6 months ago that he doesn’t want to wrestle when he’s 50, but he also noted that money talks.
