This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from Birmingham, England and it featured an appearance from WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch. During the show The Man cut a promo, and she took a shot at Birmingham while referencing the late, great Ozzy Osbourne.
“The only good thing that came out of here died a month ago. But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to LA, a proper city. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too,” Becky said.
Becky’s comments got quite the reaction from the fans in Birmingham, and now Ozzy’s daughter Kelly Osbourne has made it clear that she was not happy with what Becky Lynch said. Following WWE Raw, Kelly Osborne took to social media to post the following:
“@beckylynch.fan11 you are a disrespectful dirtbag! Birmingham would not p*ss on you if you were on fire. #birminghamforever shame on the @WWE for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home!!!”
As of this writing Becky Lynch has not responded to Kelly Osbourne.
While Becky Lynch was cutting her promo during Raw this week she was interrupted by WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella who challenged her to a match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The Man then confirmed that she will defend the belt against Nikki Bella at the Clash in Paris premium live event on Sunday, August 31st.
