Over the last few years Liv Morgan has become one of the stars to watch in WWE, but the former Women’s World Champion has been out of action since June after she suffered a dislocated shoulder during a match with Kairi Sane on Raw.
Liv Morgan had to undergo shoulder surgery in late June due to the injury and since then there’s been a lot of speculation regarding when she could potentially return to the ring.
PWInsider is reporting that Liv Morgan is set to undergo a medical evaluation this week to assess her status in regard to her recovery. It was noted that some within the company expected her to be at Raw earlier this week for the evaluation, but Liv wasn’t at the event. It’s being said that the hope internally is Liv Morgan will be able to make her WWE return in early 2026 if everything is on schedule with her recovery.
At the time that Liv suffered the injury she was one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Roxanne Perez later replaced Morgan and continued the title reign alongside Raquel Rodriguez.
Liv had also kicked off a feud with Nikki Bella that was put on hold, and she was seemingly setting up a WWE Women’s World Championship with Iyo Sky before she was sidelined. One way or another it will be interesting to see how Liv fits into the women’s division once she returns to television.
