The WWE roster is loaded with big names right now, but it’s been almost two years since Brock Lesnar has appeared on WWE programming. Lesnar last stepped into the ring at SummerSlam in 2023 when he faced off against Cody Rhodes, and he has not returned to the company since then.

It was rumored that there were plans for Brock Lesnar to return on the road to WrestleMania in 2024, but those plans were dropped due to the Vince McMahon lawsuit.

During a recent appearance on the Mightycast with Demetrious Johnson, Daniel Cormier talked about Brock Lesnar’s current status with WWE, and he claimed that The Beast Incarnate is on a banned list.

“Brock is on the banned list right now. Brock got into so much trouble. You know what Brock did? I ain’t telling you on-air what Brock did. Brock is in so much trouble.”

Daniel Cormier also discussed his history with Brock Lesnar while explaining why he and the former WWE Champion never went one on one inside the octagon.

“Brock played us. Brock played us, bro. Brock came with the idea, he always has an open door because he is such a big star. I was on a Brock Lesnar card at UFC 200. I fought Anderson [Silva]. Sold 1.4 million pay-per-views. Brock actually came and WWE paid him more to stay.”

“They paid him more to stay. We danced the dance for a while. It could have been Brock and I when I fought Derrick Lewis in New York. They paid him so much to stay. He was such a big star there that he could make money to go do that and do nothing but suplex, or fight me in an Octagon and I’m going to try and kill him. He made the best choice.”
