AJ Styles has been on the WWE roster since 2016, but fans haven’t forgotten that he spent a great deal of his career as the face of TNA Wrestling. Ever since WWE announced their partnership with Total Nonstop Action fans have been wondering if Styles could potentially crossover, and it looks like AJ could be returning to the company sooner than later.

Recently Anthem President Carlos Silva posted a tweet hyping up the upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view, and fans couldn’t help but notice that he added the word “PHENOMENAL” in all capital letters in the post.

The Takedown on SI is reporting that they’ve spoken with multiple TNA Wrestling sources and the word is that a potential AJ Styles appearance at Slammiversary has been in the works for some time now. The expectation among several members on the roster is that The Phenomenal One will be at the UBS Arena for Slammiversary in some capacity.

According to the report there was no indication given regarding specifically what AJ Styles will be doing at Slammiversary. However, multiple sources express optimism that Styles will be setting up a future match as part of the crossover between WWE and TNA Wrestling.

AJ Styles has not wrestled for the company since December 5, 2013 when he faced off against Nick Aldis in a no disqualification match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Stay tuned for updates.
