Roman Reigns has been the biggest star in WWE for some time, but it’s been a while since fans have seen The Tribal Chief. This week’s episode of Raw aired live from Birmingham, AL and it featured a huge gauntlet match to determine who would go on to face Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.
Penta, LA Knight, Bron Breakker, Jey Uso and CM Punk all entered the match and it came down to Punk and Breakker. When it was all said and done it was Punk to who defeated Breakker to earn the right to challenge Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.
After the match Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed started to beat down Jey Uso and CM Punk, but Roman Reigns made the save. Reigns ran down to the ring and knocked Bronson Reed off the apron. He then hit Reed with a Samoan Drop and took out Breakker with a Superman Punch.
Roman Reigns then picked up Jey Uso and looked at CM Punk. The Second City Saint picked himself up then stood in the ring alongside Reigns and Uso. Roman Reigns looked on as Breakker and Reed stared at him from the top of the ramp while Raw went off the air.
