The second ever WWE Evolution premium live event emanated from Atlanta, GA on Sunday night and the show kicked off in a big way. Becky Lynch put the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line as she defended the belt against Lyra Valkyria and Bayley in a triple threat match. Becky Lynch managed to retain her title, and Jacy Jayne went on to defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Jordynne Grace in the second match of the night.

Ahead of the match Jordynne Grace asked Blake Monroe if she would stand in her corner for the title bout, and Monroe accompanied Grace to the ring for her match against Jacy Jayne.

Near the end of the match Jacy Jayne called on Fallon Henley to grab the NXT Women’s Championship and Henley threw it into the ring. Blake Monroe took out Henley as the referee blocked Jacy Jayne from hitting Jordynne Grace with the belt. Grace rolled Jayne up as Jayne was holding the NXT Women’s Championship, so the belt slid out of the ring and Jazmyn Nyx picked it up. Blake Monroe then hit Nyx with a clothesline and took control of the belt.

Jordynne Grace tried to take down Jacy Jayne, but Fallon Henley distracted the referee while Jayne threw Jordynne Grace into the ropes. When Grace connected with the ropes Blake Monroe hit her in the back with the NXT Women’s Championship. Jacy Jayne followed up with the Rolling Encore to retain the belt.

After the match Blake Monroe for in the ring and handed the NXT Women’s Championship to Jacy Jayne. She then hit her signature pose as she exited the ring.
