Over the last few years a number of celebrities have crossed over into the world of professional wrestling. Names like Bad Bunny and Logan Paul have stepped into the ring, and it looks like Jelly Roll could be the next celebrity to crossover into the world of WWE.
It was recently reported that Jelly Roll has been training for his in-ring debut with WWE, which is set to take place at SummerSlam. It was also noted that Jelly Roll is expected to form an alliance with a babyface. The identity of the babyface is unknown at this point in time, but the word is that it won’t be Cody Rhodes.
Now PWInsider is reporting that Jelly Roll is set to be involved in a program with Logan Paul heading into WWE SummerSlam. WWE seems to be setting the stage for a big celebrity vs. celebrity match for the first ever two night SummerSlam next month.
It’s not clear at this point in time if Jelly Roll will end up competing in a singles, or tag team match at SummerSlam, but he is set to appear on SmackDown this week, so the direction for the singer will likely become more clear after tonight’s show.
