Roman Reigns main event WrestleMania once again this year when he faced off against CM Punk and Seth Rollins on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Unfortunately for Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman turned on him and CM Punk which allowed Seth Rollins to pick up the win.
The Tribal Chief appeared on the following episode of Raw, and he was destroyed by Bron Breakker when Breakker hit Reigns with a spear as the show went off the air. Roman Reigns has not appeared on WWE programming since April, but it sounds like he could be getting closer to a return.
WrestleVotes is reporting that as his return gets closer the leading ideas for Roman Reigns are for him to be presented as “OCT1” or “Tribal Chief One” when he’s back on TV. Sources have continued to indicate that the former WWE Champion is currently set for SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium next month.
Roman Reigns has some major unfinished business with Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman, so it will be interesting to see how he handles that once he returns.
