WWE has some big shows coming up this weekend with NXT Great American Bash, Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution 2. Friday Night SmackDown is also set to air live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN this week and Jelly Roll is expected to make an appearance.
WrestleVotes recently indicated that Jelly Roll could be setting up some type of program as it was reported that his appearance on SmackDown would lead to something more for the singer. The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that the current plan is for Jelly Roll to do “something” at WWE SummerSlam next month.
Jelly Roll appeared at WWE SummerSlam last year and he got physical during the show when he delivered a chokeslam to Austin Theory that quickly went viral. If WWE is indeed planning on using Jelly Roll at SummerSlam this year then it will be interesting to see how he fits into the show.
WWE SummerSlam will air live from MetLife Stadium on Saturday, August 2nd and Sunday, August 3rd. The current card can be seen below.
