The WWE roster is loaded with talent and there are a number of notable names currently on the broadcast team. Normally Pat McAfee calls the action alongside Michael Cole on Raw, but Corey Graves has been filling in for Pat McAfee over the last few weeks.
It was recently noted on WrestleVotes Radio that there’s a strong contingency to get Corey Graves on main roster TV every week regardless of who is, or isn’t available.
It’s being said that several people understand the value that Pat McAfee brings to the company, many feel that Graves is too good, and too passionate to not be on main roster programming every week. However, at this point in time there’s no word on whether or not WWE has interest in bringing back three man booths for television.
Pat McAfee recently explained his absence from WWE on the Pat McAfee Show, and he noted that he’s been taking time off from the company due to exhaustion.
“I will not be commentating. Continuing to just like kinda catch up on life as a whole. You know, Post-Money in the Bank, Pre-Night of Champions. Feels like a good time. I was getting pretty exhausted there. So, shoutout to everybody in WWE looking out for me, too. Very very thankful.”
Do you think WWE should bring Corey Graves back to the main roster on a permanent basis? Sound off in the comments below.
