Business has certainly picked up on the road to WrestleMania as The Rock returned to SmackDown last week. The Final Boss has inserted himself into the mix in a big way as he told Cody Rhodes that he wants him to be his champion, and he also declared that he wants The American Nightmare’s soul.
The Rock went on to confirm that he will be appearing at Elimination Chamber in Toronto as he told Cody Rhodes that he’s expecting an answer at some point during the show. With Rock being added to Elimination Chamber the advertising has heavily focused on his appearance following Rock’s return on SmackDown.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there were several people who were upset internally when everyone else was taken off the main ad for Elimination Chamber only to be replaced by a photo of The Rock.
One way or another Elimination Chamber is shaping up to be a big show as The Rock recently teased that he’ll be making some “disruptive moves” soon. Only time will tell what that means.
Elimination Chamber will air live from Toronto on Saturday, March 1st and the current card can be seen below.
