Bryan Danielson was lucky enough to have a long career inside the squared circle, but his full-time career officially came to an end when Jon Moxley defeated him to win the AEW World Championship at WrestleDream back in October.

Previously Bryan Danielson had indicated that he would be looking to wrestle again at some point down the road after his full-time career wrapped up. However, the former AEW World Champion recently told Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture that his neck is not feeling great.

“My neck is not great. It’s causing me to not sleep good and some other things. At the end of the day, I’m happy. At first, it was a little tough. For parents out there, the first three weeks of having a child where you’re not sleeping at all, but then you get used to not sleeping very well. I’ve just become used to not sleeping. I’m happy and I’ve had an incredible time being with my family and kids.”

Bryan went on to say that as of right now he is trying to avoid undergoing surgery on his neck, and that he considers surgery a last resort, so he’s going to try some other things first.

While talking about a potential in-ring return Danielson made it clear that’s it not a guarantee that he’ll be getting back in the ring when he said, “If I had to guess right now, I’d say it’s 50/50 if I’ll ever (wrestle again). I’m okay with that. I loved the time I got to spend doing this, but I also love what I’m doing now.”
