Last year it was announced that WWE would be purchased by Endeavor and in September the TKO merger was completed. WWE proceeded to release a number of wrestlers including some surprising names like Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin and Elias.
Recently the released wrestlers became free agents so now everyone is waiting to see where they’ll end up next. Now that he’s a free agent Elias has confirmed that he will be moving forward using the name Elijah.
Elijah released a new video on social media which shows him walking through the woods while carrying a guitar, so it seems that he’ll be using a similar gimmick to the one he was using in WWE.
Near the end of the video Elijah falls backwards into a grave marked for Elias. He is then seem shoveling dirt into the grave as if he’s burying his old self. Elijah then arises from the grave dressed in white clothing. The video can be seen below.
