It’s no big secret that WWE is looking to lock down their top stars as it was recently reported that Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio have signed new deals. Now it seems that another wrestler has also locked in a new deal as well.
Fightful Select reports that Charlotte Flair agreed to a contract extension that’s set to keep her with WWE for several more years. It was noted that Madusa recently stated on her podcast that she had also heard about Charlotte Flair’s contract extension.
Charlotte Flair’s contract extension reportedly happened before Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio signed new deals recently. It’s being said that the new deal is a huge money increase over her last contract, and is one of the highest-paid deals for a woman in company history. A travel bus for Charlotte was also included in the deal.
At this point in time it’s not clear when Charlotte will be returning to TV as she suffered an injury a few weeks ago. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion is set to undergo surgery to repair her ACL, MCL and meniscus.
