The WWE main roster is loaded with talent at the moment, but there are a number of wrestlers who are currently on the sidelines. Bobby Roode has not wrestled a match in quite some time due to injury. However, Roode has been working behind the scenes for WWE.
PWInsider is reporting that Bobby Roode has been removed from the active WWE roster. It was noted that Roode was previously listed under the company’s miscellaneous section which includes names like Steve Austin or The Rock who are not active, and injured wrestlers such as Braun Strowman.
Bobby Roode has been out of action since last year and has recently been working backstage as a producer. It has not been confirmed that Roode will be taking on the producer role full-time, nor has any sort of official announcement been made regarding whether or not Bobby Roode has retired from in-ring competition.
In recent weeks Bobby Roode has been receiving praise on social media for some of the matches he’s produced and BWE is reporting that Roode produced the Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn match that main evented Raw this week.
