It’s certainly been a rough week for professional wrestling as both Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk passed away. Now it seems that WWE has made some major changes to SmackDown following these tragic events.

Fightful Select is reporting that the original plans for tonight’s episode of SmackDown were scrapped. The show will feature a significant tribute element tonight and it’s being said that there are many talents who flew in on short notice.

The wrestling world has been mourning the passing of Bray Wyatt ever since the news broke on Thursday, and WWE’s Director of Longterm Creative Rob Fee is teasing that tonight’s show will be special.

So far the only two segments that are being advertised for SmackDown this week are Rey Mysterio vs. Grayson Waller in a non-title match, and Zelina Vega vs. Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Originally WWE was advertising the return of Jimmy Uso for SmackDown, but it appears that segment has been pulled from the show. Stay tuned for updates.
