Over the last few years several wrestlers have had their names changed and it’s certainly not uncommon for a WWE star to have their name shortened. Wrestlers like Riddle, Theory, Ciampa have had their names shortened only for them to be changed back later, and now it looks like two wrestlers have reverted to their original names.
Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo have been working as a tag team known as Los Lotharios for some time now, and when the tag team formed WWE changed their names to Angel and Humberto respectively. However, it appears that they are once again going to be known as Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo moving forward as WWE changed their names on the official roster page featured on WWE.com.
It’s also worth noting that Los Lotharios were featured in a backstage segment on NXT this week where a graphic was shown referring to them as Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo, so it appears that the change is official.
Los Lotharios recently set their sights on NXT as they started appearing on the brand last month. It will be interesting to see where they go from here and if they can become big players in the NXT tag team division.
