Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar kicked off their feud the night after WrestleMania 39, and their rivalry has quickly become one of the most heated rivalries in all of WWE. The American Nightmare defeated Brock Lesnar at Backlash, but The Beast Incarnate got his win back when he made Cody pass out at Night of Champions last month.
It seems that this feud between Cody and Brock is far from over as the expectation is that the two stars will face off in a third match at SummerSlam in August. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter there’s been talk of making Cody vs. Brock III a bullrope match, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
“There has been a lot of talk about adding a stipulation and one of the ideas is a bullrope match. That is not official and there are multiple other ideas for that match on the table, and no final decision has been made.”
Right now WWE is building toward the Money in the Bank premium live event next month, but it will be interesting to see how soon Brock Lesnar returns after the show to set up another match with Cody.
