The All Elite Wrestling roster is loaded with talent at the moment, but there are a number of wrestlers who have been absent that are looking to return soon including Andrade.
Fightful Select reports that Andrade was at the AEW Dynamite tapings on May 10. Originally he was supposed to appear in a backstage segment similar to what Thunder Rosa and Miro did where they went to Tony Khan’s office and teased their return for Collision.
It’s being reported that Andrade didn’t want to do the segment, but it’s not clear why. Andrade at the May 17 episode of Dynamite and filmed a backstage segment for social media. He is expected to compete on the Collision brand.
According to the report Andrade is close to an in-ring return and had been working out in the ring prior to May 10, but people close to him say he’s not physically ready yet.
It was rumored that Andrade underwent surgery in the fall to prepare for AEW Collision, but it’s been confirmed that neither Andrade nor the rest of the roster knew about the show at that point in time.
