The 2023 WWE Draft shook things up in a big way and several titles changes shows. Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair was moved to Friday Night SmackDown while SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley was drafted to Raw.

Rhea Ripley won the SmackDown Women’s Championship when she defeated Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39, and she’s currently set to defend the belt against Zelina Vega at Backlash this weekend. Once Ripley finishes up with Vega it seems that WWE could have a big feud waiting for her.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that it looks like WWE will be positioning Becky Lynch to go up against Rhea Ripley for the title. It seems that WWE doesn’t have many options when it comes to babyface challengers on Raw as it was noted that they could split up one of the tag teams to put someone in the title chase such as Raquel Rodriguez, Liv Morgan, Ronda Rousey or Shayna Baszler.

Other options for future contenders include Zoey Stark or Indi Hartwell who were called up from NXT, and now that Natalya is on the red brand she could be plugged in to the title picture at any point.

Becky Lynch has been off TV for a few weeks now after Trish Stratus turned on her after they lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. It’s no big secret that WWE is looking to set up a Lynch vs. Stratus match, but that feud isn’t expected to really take off until summer.
