Bray Wyatt has been one of the most unique stars on the WWE roster ever since he debuted and fans frequently talked about him after he was released from WWE in 2021. The talk was enough to get him another run with WWE as the company brought him back in October of 2022 at the Extreme Rules premium live event.

Unfortunately the former Universal Champion hasn’t appeared on TV in months as it’s been reported that Wyatt has been sidelined due to an illness. One way or another it seems that WWE will be ready for Bray Wyatt when he returns as Road Dogg explained on his Oh You Didn’t Know? podcast that the company hired a new writer to work with Wyatt.

“We have a new writer, actually, for Bray now,” Road Dogg said. “So we’ll see how all of that unfolds down the road.”

Bray Wyatt last wrestled on TV when he defeated LA Knight in the first ever Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble back in January. He has not appeared on WWE programming since February. It seemed that WWE was building up a Bray Wyatt vs. Bobby Lashley match for WrestleMania 39, but ultimately it didn’t happen due to Wyatt’s absence.

At this point in time there’s no word on when Bray Wyatt will be returning to WWE. Stay tuned for updates.
