In the world of professional wrestling everyone is chasing championship gold and new belts could be introduced at any time. Last week Triple H unveiled the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt and it was confirmed during night 1 of the draft that the belt will be exclusive to Monday Night Raw.
Now both brands have a world title and mid-card titles for the men’s division, but a mid-card title is something that the women’s division does not have at the moment.
Booker T recently talked about the lack of mid-card titles for the women’s division during an interview with Fox News and he suggested that WWE should introduce a new belt that the women can fight for.
“We should have a mid-card belt for the ladies, almost like a television championship where it’s not competing with the Women’s NXT Championship, just to give someone else a little bit of a rub, a little bit of shine, as well as a little bit of something to work for because it always gonna be a while before you work your way to that big goal.”
