We’re on the road to WrestleMania 39 and in recent weeks fans have seen some big returns with Lita and Trish Stratus making their way back to TV. Now it seems that another return could be taking place sooner than later.
During a recent episode of Foley Is Pod, Mick Foley teased that he could be making a return to WWE TV on the Friday before WrestleMania 39 takes place.
“On Friday night, I may be a part of WWE programming. Just putting it out there. Sunday, I won’t be in attendance. I might watch it at the hotel. I might catch a flight.”
Friday Night SmackDown is of course set to air on the Friday before WrestleMania, and the 2023 Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place after the show. Foley recently noted that he was contacted about inducting someone into the Hall of Fame this year, but he didn’t reveal who he could be inducting.
Cody Rhodes is currently set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39, and Mick Foley shared his thoughts on who he wants to see walk out with the gold when he added, “I think I’ll be real disappointed if I don’t see a title change. That’s just me.”
