After weeks of anticipation and hype WWE Elimination Chamber is set to air live tonight from Montreal. Sami Zayn is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship tonight and PWInsider is reporting that the title match will close the show. Zayn’s family is also set to be at the event.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Paul Heyman told Jimmy Uso that The Tribal Chief did not want the Undisputed Tag Team Champions to travel to Montreal for Elimination Chamber. Jimmy Uso is not in Montreal, but Jey Uso is which means he could be getting involved in the main event match.
It was recently reported that original plans for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match called for Jey Uso to turn on Sami Zayn to set up The Usos vs. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens at WrestleMania. However, it’s not clear if that’s still the plan.
Elimination Chamber will air live tonight from Montreal at 8 PM EST. Stay tuned for more updates on the show as they become available.
