Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble last month and he’s currently set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39. But first Roman Reigns has to get through Sami Zayn who he’s set to defend his title against at Elimination Chamber on Saturday.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn met face to face for a passionate promo that got the wrestling world talking. During the promo Cody hyped Sami Zayn up ahead of his title match with The Tribal Chief as he told him he doesn’t want to see him at Raw, he wants to see him at WrestleMania.
The promo caught the attention of Roman Reigns who posted a video mocking Cody and Sami where he said, “If you gotta gold a pep rally to convince each other that you can beat me, you don’t stand a chance. See you at Elimination Chamber.”
