Bray Wyatt has been back with WWE since October of 2022 and the former Universal Champion has been making frequent appearances on the SmackDown brand. Wyatt is set to wrestle in his first televised match since his return this weekend when he faces LA Knight in the first ever Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble premium event.
Wyatt has been feuding with LA Knight for months now and with WrestleMania season quickly approaching fans can’t help but wonder what’s next for Bray.
Roman Reigns is currently the top heel on SmackDown, and Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Bray Wyatt is considered to be the number one babyface on the blue brand. A match between the two is possible, but it was added that a feud with Bray might not be detrimental to The Tribal Chief.
“I mean, it’s possible. Bray is considered the number one babyface on SmackDown. He is the biggest-slotted star that Roman has not worked with. But Roman also knows that people who work with Bray always look a lot worse than going in…”
Bray Wyatt will compete in the first ever Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble, and Roman Reigns will be defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens at the event. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
