Road Dogg returned to WWE a few months ago and he has since taken on a big role as the Vice President of Live Events. During his time away from the company Road Dogg openly talked about the possibility of working for AEW, and he also openly criticized the company.
Daddy Magic Matt Menard of AEW recently referenced Road Dogg on Twitter when he posted a tweet which said, “Daddy Magic is a better Sports Entertainer than Road Dogg”

Trent Berreta then responded to the tweet when he claimed Road Dogg was nice to his face, but talked trash about him online when he added, “road dogg was always really nice to my face and then years later he s**t talked me on his personal Facebook Ed screencapped it and sent it to me it hurt my feelings tbh”
