The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is always one of WWE’s most anticipated shows of the year, and for weeks now there have been a lot of rumors making the rounds in regards to who we might see for surprise entrants this year. WWE confirmed some of its top stars for the men’s Royal Rumble match ahead of time, and fans also got to see some interesting surprise entrants on Saturday night.
Former Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre returned from injury when he entered the Royal Rumble in the number 21 spot and he immediately eliminated Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss. After Drew eliminated both men he grabbed the steel ring steps and beat then down outside the ring.
Bad Bunny made a surprise appearance when he entered the match at number 27. Bad Bunny hit the Canadian Destroyer on Riddle then eliminated Sheamus.
Shane McMahon then returned at number 28 and he eliminated Kevin Owens then set his sights on Drew McIntyre. Brock Lesnar entered the match at number 30 after he lost the WWE Championship to Bobby Lashley when Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman interfered in his title match.
Lesnar last eliminated Drew McIntyre to win the 2022 men’s Royal Rumble match. It was made pretty obvious that Lesnar will be using his title shot to go after Reigns moving forward. Stay tuned for updates.
