AJ Styles and Omos have been teaming together for some time now, and they managed to achieve major success earlier this year when they won the Raw Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 37.
Styles and Omos have been featured as one of the top teams in the tag team division ever since they started competing together, but it looks like WWE officials recently discussed the idea of splitting them up.
WrestleVotes reports that WWE considered breaking AJ Styles and Omos up in the recent WWE Draft, and at one point that was the plan moving forward. However, it’s being reported that people in power, including a main talent on Raw, expressed their thoughts in regards to Omos not being ready for a singles run, and WWE listened.
WWE had seriously considered breaking the pairing of AJ Styles & Omos during draft. To the point where that was the plan. Until people of power (including a main RAW talent) spoke up & expressed thoughts on how Omos isn’t quite ready for singles yet. And they actually listened.
