The WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view aired live from Allegiant Stadium on Saturday night, and Bianca Belair was scheduled for a title match with Sasha Banks. However, after Belair made her entrance it was announced that Banks would not be competing, and that Carmella would be her replacement.
Bianca Belair got on the mic and said that eventually she’s going to get her hands on Sasha Banks, but tonight she’s going to beat Carmella, and that’s when Becky Lynch’s music hit.
Becky Lynch received a huge ovation from the fans in attendance and she made her way into the ring. The Man didn’t say a word as she attacked Carmella and threw her out of the ring. Becky Lynch then stood face to face with Bianca Belair as the fans went wild.
Becky then got on the mic and challenged Belair to a title match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and Belair agreed, so the referee rang the bell.
The Man made short work of Bianca Belair as they shook hands, then Lynch hit Belair in the face and followed up with the Manhandle Slam which put her away in a matter of seconds to win the title.
