It’s been a big week for WWE as the company recently announced a 25 city tour that will see the return of fans starting in July with three events in Texas.

PWInsider reports that when WWE made the announcement regarding a return to the road it wasn’t a surprise among talents. It was noted that while talents weren’t told about the announcement, or the dates ahead of time, they were informally told that plans to return to the road were being made for the near future.

WWE reportedly kept the plans extremely close to the vest until it was officially announced not only to avoid any leaks, but also because things could have changed at any given time due to the pandemic.

The belief is that upcoming events will take place in cities where COVID-19 safety measures have become more relaxed. The southwest and Florida are said to be likely areas for future events, and Iowa and Pennsylvania have also been discussed.

The 25 city tour is set to run through Labor Day and will kick off with the following events:

– Friday, July 16: SmackDown – Toyota Center in Houston
– Sunday, July 18: Money In The Bank – Dickies Arena in Fort Worth
– Monday, July 19: Raw – American Airlines Center in Dallas

Tickets for the events go on sale on Wednesday, May 26 at 11 am ET.
